Our Multi-Site Leaders play a crucial role in exceeding expectations and providing a superb customer experience; critical to Amazon’s success which is built on a foundation of customer obsession and innovation. This position is a multi-faceted role requiring the ability to balance entrepreneurial spirit, strategy and execution.

The Multi Site Leader is responsible for all budgetary, people development and operations objectives for our Amazon Pantry sites. Additional responsibilities include managing and leading a team of Senior Operations Managers, Operations Managers and Area Managers, coaching and mentoring the team to ensure Safety, Quality and Performance objectives are met, building positive employee relations and building leadership bench strength within the organization. The leader in this role must be nimble, demonstrate high judgment, make quick decisions in the face of ambiguity, and be strong in Innovation. In addition, he/she must lead his or her team to have high Customer Obsession, Bias for Action, Ownership, and have the ability to Hire and Develop the Best at a very rapid rate.

*This role can be based in Doncaster, Wroclaw, Barcelona, London or Luxembourg*

· Drives creation of safety initiatives, quality programs, process change initiatives and other Lean elements to enable the network to meet and exceed business plan.
· Responsible for the overall safety, quality and performance and customer experience of EU Pantry Operations.Will set and clarify requirements and expectations for Senior Operations Managers, Operations Managers and Area Managers. Measures performance, provides feedback, and holds teams accountable for their performance and the performance of their departments.
· Responsible for providing strategic level/long-term planning (6, 12, and 24 months out) including peak season planning, site expansion and network expansion include new site launches.
· Takes proactive steps to ensure that best practices are shared across all regions, buildings, departments, and shifts and across the network.
· Participates in recruiting to identify and evaluate associates and internal/external candidates for promotion and hire. Works closely with support staff (HR, Finance, Facilities, Safety, IT and other managers) to build and secure support and resources for projects and initiatives in their scope of control, as well as providing needed support and resources for other staff initiatives


· A completed Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or 2+ years Amazon work experience
· 7+ years direct management experience, including a salaried workforce, in a manufacturing, production or distribution environment
· Experience with performance metrics and process improvement and Lean techniques
· Experience with the full staffing lifecycle, including interviewing, hiring, performance management, promotions and terminations
· Candidates must be flexible to work a variety of hours as business demands
· Ability to travel 50%
· Proven ability to improve metrics at a country level,
· Excellent command of English – both verbal and written


· Degree in Engineering, operations or related field and MBA is highly desired
· Experience with a contingent workforce during peak seasons Prior experience or use of Lean/Six Sigma
· Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills complemented with the ability to problem solve independently.
· Ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgment in stressful situations
